The book walks you through a practical process of starting up new machines, accessing and customizing them. The author presents a good balance of recipe procedures and some under-the-hood exposure so that when you want to do something new, you have some idea where to look. Vagrant is very likely to be a common tool in the next year or so in software and web service application development and testing. I think my next trick will be to read through a book on chef, since that is the next part of the stack that has complexity I don't yet understand how to use to its fullest. Great read.Product details

I have been using vagrant blindly without really understanding commands and functions. This book was just enough to enable me to get a grip on what things mean and do.
This is just some screen outputs and bullet notes, but it's free.
With the aid of this book I learned the basics of Data Science as it is easy to read that it touched down variety of academic disciplines, including business, computer science, statistics, in relation to the idea of discovering new insights and ideas from data gathering. All in all this is a very informative book.
